Rular Broadband
Expanded Rural Broadband
Just as Franklin D. Roosevelt championed the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 and
Dwight Eisenhower promoted the Interstate Highway System in
1956, rural broadband must become a national priority.
It’s a necessity for students to compete in school, for
people to work and communicate, and to handle all the
necessary online tasks in a modern world. For those
living paycheck to paycheck, access to robust broadband
is a leading indicator as to their ability to work their way
out of poverty.
We must make this critical investment for our future.
